What It Is...
Browns Creek Media Village is a unique, master planned “media village” development to be built in Greater Nashville, which in essence includes:
1 - Entertainment and Media Production Studios - State-of-the-art Entertainment and Media Production Studios for the development and production of filmed entertainment and visual content - primarily motion pictures and television for the global media markets.
2 - Campus for Higher Education - A facility for institutions to offer curriculum in the artistic, technological and business aspects of filmed entertainment integrated with the studio facilities for practical training and experience.
3 - Music Venue and Performing Arts Center - Facilities including a tourism village center with live and filmed entertainment venues, visual arts galleries, retail stores, hospitality facilities, and parking.
Additionally, several ancillary development components include: residential and recreational areas for 24x7 vitality, public open space, office space for production companies, flex space for local production company storage and distribution, hospitality for production crews and future tourism, tourism retail and parking to accommodate all uses.

The Browns Creek Media Village development is currently being considered by the Tennessee Sate Fair Board as an option for potential redevelopment at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, the 117 acre site bordered by Nolensville Road, Wedgewood Avenue, Bransford Avenue and Craighead Street.
